Take A Peach To The Beach

Listen to a piece of local history and see the original hand painted sign at the Catawba Island Hist

In 1979, K. L. Hays recorded the song "Take A Peach To The Beach," about the iconic sign advertising Bergman Orchards in Marblehead, Ohio. The Bergman family had one remaining 45 RPM record of this song and loaned it to the Catawba Island Historical Society so we could record it and share it with you. Make sure you stop in the museum for more history on this iconic tourist welcoming image.

Scroll down and play the song and the B-side of the record.
